Mars in the UK is a leader in confectionery and ice cream, petcare, rice, sauces and drinks. We make some of the UK’s most popular and familiar products including MARS, SNICKERS, EXTRA, PEDIGREE, WHISKAS, DOLMIO, UNCLE BEN’S, and KLIX.
What we’re made of
Mars, Incorporated is a family owned company. Our UK business is split into five key segments: Chocolate, Food, Petcare, Drinks and Gum and Confections.
Our chocolate brands include some the UK’s best-loved and most widely available confectionery products such as MARS, SNICKERS, TWIX and MILKY WAY.
Every day people around the UK enjoy our food brands as part of their main meal of the day. UNCLE BEN’S rice is a much-loved favourite. We also produce a range of sauces under the DOLMIO brand.
We provide a range of petcare products, including snacks, treats and complete diets, for cats, dogs, cage birds, aquarium fish and horses. Our petcare brands don’t come more famous than PEDIGREE, CESAR, WHISKAS and SHEBA.
Our Drinks Group is responsible, among other things, for the innovative award-winning drinks vending systems – KLIX and FLAVIA.
Our Gum and Confections division has expanded to include Wrigley brands, a business which has been manufacturing and selling chewing gum in the UK for almost a hundred years, including EXTRA, JUICY FRUIT and HUBBA BUBBA brands. We also produce sugar brands such as STARBURST and SKITTLES.
