A Great Place to Work: this is what the institute, Great Place to Work (http://www.greatplacetowork.at), is looking for when auditing companies. Mars Austria underwent the independent evaluation by the Great Place to Work Institute, and achieved 5th place among all Austrian employers with  more than 250 associates.

The assessment is mainly based on a survey of the company’s workforce: they fill in an anonymised questionnaire and send it directly to the auditors at the institute. The 60 questions refer to three subjects:

• trust between management and associates,
• pride in the company,
• relations between colleagues.

Mars Austria is not the only Great Place to Work in the Mars universe: Mars companies throughout Europe feature high on their respective countries’ Great Place to Work lists. In the ranking of Europe’s best multi-national employers, Mars is No. 3.

Similarly, the Career’s Best Recruiters quality seal, awarded to Mars Austria by the Career jobseekers’ guide (http://careernet.at), is based on an outside assessment: a survey of jobseekers with regard to the image of different employers, and especially their fairness towards job applicants.
