At Mars, our Five Principles guide us in the daily choices we make and the manner in which we do business. Two in particular stand out. For us, "A mutual benefit is a shared benefit: a shared benefit will endure" and Responsibility states that, "As individuals we demand total responsibility from ourselves." Mutuality and Responsibility impose a special obligation upon us. We take upon ourselves the responsibility for ensuring that we deliver mutual benefit to all with whom we interact: associates, consumers, trade partners, our communities, and last but not least our planet.

Our actions should never be at the expense, economic or otherwise, of others with whom we work. We strongly believe that only success that is shared can be sustained and it is our goal to achieve this in all we do.
