Q. How do I create or update my profile?


A.  To create or update your profile, click on the job search icon. Under create/update profile click on the find out more button.  Select your preferred language.  Once you have agreed to the privacy agree you can now create a new user by clicking on new user icon.  Please follow the instructions filling in all items that have a red asterisk (*).

Q. Should I mail, fax or e-mail my résumé to you?


A. We request all applications be submitted via Taleo, our online application system. This will ensure your résumé is easily accessible to all members of P&O for current and future job opportunities.

Q. How can I confirm you have received my résumé?


A. An automated response will be sent to you from Taleo when your online application form has been received.  If we believe that your qualifications are a match to our employment needs, a member of P&O will contact you to further discuss your qualifications.

Q. What happens to my résumé when I submit it online?

A. Your résumé and contact information are received electronically by the Mars Canada P&O department where the data is stored in Taleo for further consideration.

Q. How long will my résumé be kept on file?

A. Résumés will be kept on file for one year, however, we suggest whenever there is a change to your résumé (such as an upgraded education, or a change in you contact information), you should update your profile.

Q. Who will have access to my résumé and personal information?

A. Your details will only be seen by Mars Canada Recruiters and the line manager responsible for the specific vacancy you have applied for.

Q. What is the interview process at Mars Canada?

A. For most positions candidates will go through a series of interviews.  The first interview is the initial screening stages where candidates will go through both qualifying and behavioural based questions.  This stage allows the opportunity for candidates to learn more about the position, the work environment, and the culture at Mars Canada.  The second interview is a panel interview in which candidates will be able to call on different skills sets to solve and present a case study or problem to the hiring panel.
