We love that people around the world love our brands. To continue sharing them across continents and generations, we must conduct all of our services and make all of our products sustainably, without depleting the planet’s increasingly scarce resources. Our ambition is to source, manufacture, package and distribute our brands in ever-more sustainable ways.
Our brands help us connect with all kinds of people, all over the world. We take this as both an opportunity and a responsibility. So we make every effort to use our marketing for good, providing clear information and promoting appropriate use. We also use our brands to encourage people to contribute to good causes, amplifying the positive impact our products can make.

At Mars, we love cats of all sizes. Though we manufacture food only for domestic cats, we help their bigger cousins by partnering with the World Wildlife Foundation’s Tigers Alive initiative to combat illegal poaching.
Kids are kids — not a target audience. We continue to stand against marketing our human food products and services directly to children under the age of 12 and are committed to fostering health and nutrition for the world’s youth. Our promise to not market to children is one of the guiding principles of our marketing policy.

Pets give us so much joy – let’s give back. Through our PEDIGREE® Brand, we encourage volunteering at pet shelters and do our part to provide donations. In fact, we donated more than three million pounds of pet food to shelters in 2014. We know we can always do more, so we also encourage people to adopt pets from shelters.
UNCLE BEN’S® Ben’s Beginners™ is one way we bring families together to create delicious, healthy meals. It’s our website that features cooking shows and user-submitted videos on how to use UNCLE BEN’S® rice to prepare simple meals with your loved ones. We’re happy to say that people have participated across the globe, including in the U.S., the U.K., France and Germany.
