Milan, June 2009 – Whiskas® Pranzetti™is the first Mars product for cats especially designed to address the needs and habits of Italian owners. It consists of a complete and well-balanced meal, rich with nutrients required to ensure a cat’s well being. There are three different recipes to satisfy the tastes of your cat in a convenient 50g pouch, ideal to ensure the taste of freshly opened food at all meals.
Whiskas® Pranzetti™ is the result of a careful analysis of the trends of Italian owners and their relationship with their cats. The study carried out by Mars showed that, unlike other Europeans, Italian consumers are unconventional: on average, in fact, they are much more aware of the nutritional needs of their cats, and increasingly tend to treat them like human beings, offering them meals twice a day. This is why they demand for them food that seems to be freshly prepared on purpose every time.
Unlike the usual 85g format of the products now available on the market, which is sometimes too much for an individual meal, Pranzetti™ is offered in 50 g pouches, a format considered by a share of consumers as ideal for a well-balanced, complete, and tasty meal, which allows to avoid having to re-seal the pack manually.
Whiskas® Pranzetti™ is available in the multipack 6-pouch format in three different recipe selections:
