The supplement series, called Nature Outlook, will include a three-page feature focuses on Mars involvement in this year’s Lindau Laureate Meeting, as well as the company’s broader collaborative research projects, including Mars’ work on cocoa genome, rice sustainability initiatives, cocoa flavanol research and the African Orphan Crops Consortium.
Launching in the same week at Mars’ second Principles in Action Summary the Outlook supplement will draw on the topics highlighted at this years Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, a conference dedicated to physics and physical sciences research. The supplement includes interviews with Nobel Laureates, features on current developments in science, as well as pieces on the events at Lindau.
From today, Nature.com will host a series of Mars-sponsored Nobel Laureate documentaries. Released throughout September and October, each documentary is appended by a film on science at Mars featuring Harold Schmitz, Chief Science Officer, Ralph Jerome, VP Corporate Innovation, Nobel Laureate Dudley Herschbach, and some of the Mars-supported young researchers. The Mars ‘Collaboration in Science’ film is available to view here
“Our partnership with Nature journal and the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings embodies Mars commitment to scientific dialogue and collaboration,” commented Howard Schmitz. “It’s a great way to engage with those already working in the field and those considering a future in scientific discovery.”
