BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME

If you love the idea of being able to work alongside all of Mars' business segments: Confectionery, Petcare, Food, and Drinks, then working within Mars Global Services (MGS) could be exactly what you're looking for. Created to be the catalyst for future information and technology leaders, the BTLP scheme gives graduates the opportunity to work across all areas of our business, as well as developing their leadership skills throughout their three years on the programme.

What will I be doing?
Each of your three placements will last one year. As MGS is an extremely broad and varied division, you have the opportunity to experience something different and challenging in every year of the scheme and beyond. The placements will cover a range of critical areas such as Project Management, Business Relationship Management, Technology Management and Business Intelligence. We’ll expect you to have the drive and independence to run projects in the different areas of our business. You’ll be customer focused and good at relating to others, as well as having an analytical eye and commercial nous.

What support can I expect?
As an ambitious graduate who is looking to advance your longer term leadership prospects, we’ll give you the freedom to drive and manage your own career. Dedicated support is key to enable this success and so we'll make sure you have regular development discussions and six-monthly performance reviews. In addition, you'll have ongoing guidance from a Mars Senior Leader assigned as your mentor. On top of this, you will receive coaching and the opportunity to gain industry recognized qualifications. The key word is development and this programme is just the beginning of your long-term career development in Mars.

Where will I be working?
Slough, although some global travel may be required.

What is the starting salary?
