Wrigley Company Foundation

We believe in the power of bringing people together. Since its founding in 1987, the Wrigley Company Foundation has positively impacted millions of people around the world, donating over $70 million USD to nonprofit partners. The Foundation’s mission is to improve the health of people and our planet through initiatives focused on oral health, environmental stewardship and local needs that ensure healthy communities.

The Wrigley Company Foundation’s commitment to oral health has impacted more than 1 million people in need. Oral health education, access to care and clean drinking water has reached 890,000+ underserved school children and their communities through a partnership with Save the Children – a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that every child has a chance at a healthy start in life.

If we educate our youth of today, we have a great chance of saving our earth tomorrow. That’s why the Wrigley Company Foundation partners with non-governmental organizations, such as the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) – a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating young people around the world about the environment.

The Foundation has reached more than 1.8 million students through its global partnership with FEE. The Litter Less campaign, which span 35 countries, focuses on educating, changing behaviors and preventing littering. Together, students are encouraged to make sustainable choices that help brighten their local communities for all to enjoy.

The Wrigley Company Foundation’s work impacts communities of today and tomorrow by supporting the next generation – children. In the northern region of India where mint is grown, children’s chances for success are limited due to poor literacy levels. Since 2013, the Wrigley Company Foundation and Pratham Education Foundation have partnered together to bring reading and math education to children in farming villages.

The Foundation also supports emergency and long-term recovery efforts when significant disasters occur in Wrigley site communities around the world. Natural disasters can occur anytime, anywhere – and the Foundation supports communities through these unexpected, challenging times. To aid natural disaster relief, the Foundation partners with the American Red Cross’ International Services program - a global network of donors, volunteers and employees that shares a mission of preventing and relieving suffering around the world, particularly from natural disasters, so people can have clean water, safe shelter and hot meals when they need them most.
