21st January 2026 - Mars has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Places to Work, ranking 4th out of 50 organisations on Glassdoor’s 2026 Best Places to Work UK list.
This annual recognition celebrates companies that have earned the highest praise from their employees, spotlighting organisations that excel in creating positive workplace experiences, based entirely on anonymous feedback. Glassdoor evaluates employers across key areas including culture and values, leadership, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, and work-life balance.
Mars UK’s position in the top five reflects strong, consistent feedback from Associates across the UK, highlighting the company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace where people can thrive at all stages in their career. The 2026 ranking also marks a year-on-year improvement for Mars, rising from fifth place in 2025 to fourth on this year’s list.
The family-owned business is best known for its iconic brands including Ben’s Original™, EXTRA®, M&M’s®, SNICKERS®, PEDIGREE® and WHISKAS®. Beyond its brands, Mars places people at the heart of its business, guided by its Five Principles and long-standing commitment to Associate wellbeing, development and engagement.
Adam Grant, General Manager at Mars UKI said:“We’re incredibly proud to be recognised once again as one of the UK’s Best Places to Work. This recognition is especially meaningful because it’s based entirely on feedback from our Associates. It reflects the culture we continue to build at Mars - one rooted in trust, inclusion and shared purpose - where people feel supported, listened to and able to do their best work”.
This recognition builds on Mars UK’s recent workplace accolades, including being named the UK’s Most Family-Friendly Company and one of the most Pet-Friendly Workplaces in the 2025 Flexa100 list, as well as achieving Menopause Friendly Accreditation from Henpicked - further reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and flexible working.
With over 10,000 Associates across 10 sites in the UK[1], the company’s workforce includes marine biologists, chewing gum tasters and rice buyers - all with the aim to bring Mars’ best-loved products to British homes.
