This Earth Month, we are putting the spotlight on climate. No organization can tackle climate change alone. Together, we can take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Climate-related events are accelerating in frequency and the impact they have on our daily lives, from certain agricultural practices to deforestation, fires and flooding. We think these should be turning heads and driving change, today.
Driven by our long-term perspective and the Mars Compass – our guiding beacon – we’re steadfast in our mission to tackle climate change. From farm to fork, we're implementing innovative solutions, from renewable energy to sustainable agriculture, ensuring our footprint on the planet is as light as possible.
At the heart of our approach is a commitment to transparency, accountability and inclusivity, ensuring every decision aligns with our goal of a more sustainable and resilient business model. Our journey is marked by milestones and targets, each step validated by rigorous standards and the support of our Associates, partners and communities worldwide.
As we forge ahead, we're not just focused on our path, but also on inspiring and enabling others to join the movement. Through collaboration and shared learning, we believe that together, we can turn the tide against climate change, ensuring a thriving planet for all.
Just late last year, we released our Net Zero Roadmap outlining our clear, science-based strategy to cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions 50% by 2030, aiming for net zero emissions by 2050.
Now, during Earth Month, we’re continuing to spread the word and celebrate that ambition with our #TurningHeadsForClimate(Opens a new window) digital activation.
Through our series of four animated videos, you can see some of the most pertinent impacts of climate change and how our actions through the Net Zero Roadmap are helping to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
