At Mars, we envision a day when all pets are safe, secure, cared for, fed-well and loved – and we love stories about how much pet parents love their pets. So we’re particularly pleased that broadcast legend and lifelong animal-lover Katie Couric has joined our efforts to end pet homelessness.
Together with Katie Couric Media, we’re producing Unleashed(Opens a new window), a digital series where Katie interviews her celebrity friends about their cuddly companions and the pet adoption experience. Each episode takes you behind the scenes for a hilarious and heartwarming look at life with an adorable adoptee.
In the first episode, Katie joins actor Jason Biggs, his wife and cookbook author Jenny Mollen, and their adopted pup – the brilliant escape artist, Gina Marie. The episode was appropriately filmed during the dog days of summer in New York City. Katie also shares details of our work at the PEDIGREE Foundation(Opens a new window).

“It only made sense to tour my favorite city with some of my friends and their pups!” she explains. “I'm so excited to be working with the team at Mars on this project.
