Mars Ranks on Forbes’ Best Employers for Diversity
April 20, 2021

Mars was once again named to Forbes’ America’s Best Employers for Diversity.

Mars believes the world we want tomorrow starts with how we do business today. In the world we want tomorrow society is inclusive for all intersections — including race, age, sexuality, religion and ability — to help create a world where everyone is thriving.

In their 2021, third annual ranking of the best employers for diversity, Forbes ranked Mars at #131 of 500 companies. Forbes collaborated with market research firm Statista to survey over 50,000 employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations. Respondents were asked questions regarding the topics of age, gender equality, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQA+ and general diversity concerning their own employer. The survey was independently conducted on companies from all industry sectors.

Over the past year, Mars has committed to accelerating its I&D journey and actions include:

  • Associates’ voices were heard by attending listening sessions to discuss how we can create a more inclusive and diverse environment at Mars
  • Mars has invested in partnerships with organizations that drive racial equity in the community and support educational opportunities
  • Mars energized over 17,000 Associates across the global community through a dedicated I&D week
  • Mars is continuing their ongoing commitment to I&D with dedicated resources, the creation of an inspiring vision, plus opportunities to build capabilities and knowledge to support I&D efforts
